This website

appliedhorizons.com is a static website. Pages are pre-built files served directly. There is no application server, no database, and no user account of any kind.

Cookies and analytics

The site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising scripts, and no session recording. Nothing on the site attempts to identify you or follow you across other sites.

Third-party resources

All fonts, styles, images, and scripts are served from this domain, with one exception: the Connect page loads Cloudflare Turnstile, which is the check that stops the contact form being used by automated senders. It runs only on that page. Turnstile is designed not to profile visitors and does not set advertising cookies, though it does receive your IP address in order to work.

No other page makes a request to any third-party host.

The contact form

If you use the form on the Connect page, we receive what you type into it: your name, your email address, your message, and — if you choose to give them — your organisation and an area of interest. Nothing else is asked for.

That submission is sent to a mailbox as an email. It is not stored in a database, added to a mailing list, passed to anyone else, or used to build a profile of you. The message contents are not written to server logs; the service records only that a submission succeeded or failed, and why.

Alongside the message we receive the country your request came from, which Cloudflare supplies with the request, and the time it arrived. Your IP address is used briefly to run the anti-abuse check and to rate-limit repeated submissions. It is not stored with the message.

Server logs

The site is served through a hosting provider that, like any web host, processes connection information such as IP address, user agent, and requested URL in order to deliver the page and protect the service against abuse. We do not use those records to build a profile of visitors, and we do not combine them with any other information.

Correspondence

However you reach us — the form or a direct email — we hold that message and your address for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and keep a reasonable business record. We do not add correspondents to a mailing list, and we do not share addresses with anyone else.

Your rights

You can ask what correspondence we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to contact@appliedhorizons.com and we will respond.

Changes

If this statement changes materially, the date above changes with it. Earlier versions are visible in the site's version history.
