Why together
A consequential change is rarely contained by the discipline that produced it. Something that improves a workflow becomes a dependency. A dependency becomes an exposure. An exposure attracts a supervisory expectation, and eventually an obligation that has to be evidenced by the same team that built the original thing.
Examined separately, each of those steps looks like someone else's problem. Examined together, they are the same problem observed at different points along its path. The boundaries are where the consequences accumulate.
The areas above are where we return most often. They are not the limits of what we will look at — the method matters more than the subject.
